THE GANG OF BOY’S HIDEOUT

Kingswood

One morning after breakfast, we kids were leaning over Dad and Donna’s balcony because we were bored. Us girls discovered a hideout and so we went downstairs to have a closer look. It was like a climbing plant against a fence which was pulled out and in between the plant and the fence was the hideout and inside it had sticks and a baseball bat. We found out it was the gang of boys' hideout.

  [Diary post I wrote when I was a child] CREATURE FEATURES One night Chrissy and I wanted to stay up and watch a TV show called Creature Features which was on at midnight every Friday night. By the time it came on we were really tired and at the beginning of the show, a hand came out of the coffin. Autumn freaked out and started screaming, Chrissy and I started laughing. Autumn fell asleep and about ten minutes into the show, Dad came into our room turned the TV down, and told us, 'Are use deaf or something?" When he left Chrissy blocked Autumn's nose when she was fast asleep, Autumn woke up snorting and shouting. We asked her what the matter was and she said she had a nightmare that a dead person was about to kill her. Chrissy and I just laughed. [At Dads: Kingswood]
